Red Theatre

Paper Windmill Cultural Foundation had a vision that they want “future generations to have historical memories of the Red House” and “Red House to have a multidimensional purpose through creative usage. They took over the operation and management of the Red House from 2002 to 2007. The approach of the renovation is to preserve the appearance of Red House’s original look and create a connection between culture and space. Operation-wise, the team invited groups to perform and held activities like “Cultural Seminars” and “Historical Tours,” cooperating with local history studios. This is the most relaxing way for the audience to enjoy the beauty of performing art. In these five years, the team held nearly 1000 events, with almost 60K audience. Not only did the foundation provide a new meaning to the Red House Theater, but also turned the cultural art space into a one of its kind recreational centers.
